The Role: White Force SME
Inzpire provides White Force and Exercise Control services to a diverse global clientele, including the UK MoD, coalition military organisations (with an Air and Space focus), and defence companies. This role is varied, with an expected 16-20 weeks of overseas training delivery per year, supported by a generous deployment bonus scheme.
You will leverage your expertise to deliver live and synthetic Air CT exercises, applying the Plan, Brief, Execution, and Debrief (PBED) cycle. Operating within a small team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), your responsibilities will include:
- Exercise Planning: Design baseline exercise scenarios, produce supporting Operational Staff Work, deliver pre-exercise briefs to stakeholders, and undertake other tasks as agreed with the exercise owner or customer.
- Exercise Execution: Perform Exercise Control duties, such as Exercise Coordination Officer or Red Air Coordinator, to ensure training audience learning objectives are met.
- Debriefing: Provide input into customer debrief processes and assist in identifying key debrief focal points.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking individuals with the following experience and skillsets:
Essential Requirements:
- Experience or knowledge of the UK Air CT exercise PBED cycle.
- Ability to confidently present complex subjects to large audiences.
- Experience in live or synthetic Air training, preferably from a Combat Air (CA) or Air C2 SME background.
- Previous knowledge of UK, NATO, or US military Air integration planning methodologies.
- Willingness to embrace Inzpire's work ethic of loyalty, flexibility, and exceeding customer expectations.
- Hold, or have previously held, appropriate security clearances.
Desirable Experience:
- UK Qualified Weapons Instructor (QWI) (or equivalent), Mission Commander (MC), Weapons System Operator Exchange Instructor (WCI) NATO/US, Electronic Warfare Instructor (EWI), or other Air instructor qualifications.
- Firsthand experience in Air or Joint Force exercise planning and delivery.
- Experience working with 4th and 5th Generation Combat Air platforms.
- Experience collaborating with international partner nations.
- Experience working within a Whole Force construct for effective project delivery.
Note: Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National. Successful applicants may be required to complete National Security Vetting, which may include criminal record, security service, and credit reference checks. A minimum of 5 years' UK residency is normally required.
