The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team on a fixed-term basis, covering a period of maternity leave. In this varied and hands-on role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the office, providing essential administrative support across a range of functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment, takes pride in their work, and is confident managing both routine tasks and ad hoc responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing and monitoring administrative support.
- Providing and managing general office equipment.
- Aiding line management as appropriate.
- Key Holder responsibilities.
- Conducting weekly and monthly checks.
- Raising purchase orders.
- Ordering of uniform, business cards, and lunches.
- Dealing with annual checks – driving licence, DSE.
- Sorting postage, travels, and hotels.
- Minute and action taking on ad hoc meetings.
- Supporting and dealing with contractors.
Location and Working Hours
This role is based in our Lincoln office, requiring a 5-day per week commitment. Working hours are 08:00 - 17:00.
The Person
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Some experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach.
- A polite and professional manner.
- High organisational skills.
- The ability to be a great team player and work well independently.
Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National. They may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting, which may involve criminal record, security service, and credit reference checks. Qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
