Role Overview
In the dynamic world of Light Twin helicopters, the new H140 program is a critical segment of our fleet. As a Technical Data Engineer, you will be exclusively dedicated to the Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC), serving as the 'Guardian of Safety'. Your role is crucial in bridging the gap between complex engineering designs and the mechanics on the ground, ensuring every component is accurately identified, configured, and safe for installation.
Mission
Your primary mission is to act as the vital interface between the Design Office and the Customer for the new H140 platform. This involves analyzing engineering data and drawings to select spare parts and meticulously manage their configuration within the Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC).
Key Responsibilities & Success Metrics
- Core Execution: Analyze and incorporate Trigger (ECP/CR/MITB/TN/SB/ASB) changes, developing capabilities to create customized spare parts lists aligned with Customer and Airbus requirements.
- Technical Specification: Perform impact analysis, authoring, and verification/validation of the IPC in compliance with ATA specifications and civil regulations to ensure completeness and airworthiness.
- Customer Support: Resolve blocking points and address complex customer queries regarding IPC documentation, ensuring swift problem-solving, especially during Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations.
- Challenge (Digital Continuity & Operational Excellence): Within the framework of Technical Data harmonization, identify workflow gaps between engineering processes and the IPC, and systematically propose robust recovery plans.
Success Metric: Ensure the quality, consistency, completeness, and on-time delivery of IPC deliverables, targeting zero critical errors within the first six months.
Profile Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical/Industrial Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
- Technical Stack: Mastery of SAP and Windchill for spare parts configuration control. Expertise in PTC Isodraw, Arbortext, CATIA, A-TOOL, BFlow, and ICN Toolbox.
- Domain Expertise: 2-3 years of technical experience in the aeronautical sector (Aircraft Maintenance, ILS, Airframes Design) with a strong technical background in troubleshooting, spare definition, and maintenance concepts.
- Soft Skills: Analytical rigor, autonomy in applying standards, and strong transnational collaboration capabilities.
- Languages: Fluent English (B2+ Negotiation level) and Spanish are mandatory. German is highly desirable.
