About the Role
As an IT Business Analyst at Babcock, you will play a crucial role in shaping digital change that supports a safer and more secure world. Key Responsibilities
- Gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements to support project objectives and business outcomes.
- Facilitating stakeholder workshops to identify needs, define solutions, and build consensus across teams.
- Modelling business processes and data flows to support continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Supporting requirements management throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring clarity and traceability.
- Collaborating with project delivery, technical, and business teams across multiple concurrent projects to deliver successful solutions.
About You
You will have demonstrable experience working in a Business Analyst role within a complex organisation. Strong knowledge of business analysis methods, processes, and best practice techniques is essential. Experience facilitating requirements gathering workshops and engaging with diverse stakeholders is required, along with experience using business analysis tools, techniques, and process modelling methodologies. An understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and its application within technology projects is also necessary.
A degree-level qualification in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline would be advantageous. Professional Business Analysis certifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
