Airbus Helicopters is seeking an Intern for Workspace Operation Support Specialist (d/m/w) within the IT Digital Workplace team at their Donauwörth location.
About the Role:
This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in IT operations and digital workplace support. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to daily tasks and learning about IT service management in an international aerospace environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily incident and request management by monitoring the support backlog, updating the knowledge base, and ensuring CMDB accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining IT equipment for meeting rooms and video conferencing, including inventory management and preparing purchase requests for new hardware.
- Help create and update user-oriented documentation, translating technical updates into easy-to-understand user guides and knowledge articles for the IT Service Desk.
- Collaborate daily with the IT Service Desk to ensure smooth communication, support the 'Shift-Right' approach for routine troubleshooting, and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Provide backup support for central workspace applications and web conferencing services, assist with monitoring system health dashboards, and aid in the rollout of new software features.
- Contribute to team agility and continuous improvement by participating in weekly team tasks, product meetings, and SAFe PI planning sessions, proactively suggesting ideas for the service roadmap.
Your Profile:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in Computer Sciences or a related field.
- First practical experience in IT Operations is desirable.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
- Multimedia skills, including a basic understanding of web and video conferencing technologies, and an interest in learning ITIL practices and ticketing tools like ServiceNow are desirable.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly guides and monitor team performance using data and dashboards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective interaction with local and international teams, as well as various stakeholders.
