About the Role
Airbus Helicopters is looking for an IT Product Owner (f/m) to join our Digital Directorate, specifically within the E2E Develop Domain. Based in Marignane, France, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining applications that support the business in producing aircraft documentation.
As part of the Techdata & Manufacturing Solutions Product Line (PSL), you will define, monitor, and enhance solutions to ensure project success, implement new functionalities, and drive significant business improvements in production.
Your Environment
The Techdata & Manufacturing Solutions PSL is a dynamic and innovative environment that has embraced DevOps and Agile methodologies early on. It manages over 100 applications, with a diverse technical stack ranging from classic client-server architectures (Java, Node.js) to cutting-edge event-driven architectures.
Marignane, located near Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, is a vibrant economic hub offering a rich cultural scene and numerous outdoor activities.
Your Challenges
- Participate in the TechData New Generation Portfolio within the SAFe Methodology as a Product Owner for TECHDATA applications.
- Manage Agile Teams, define solutions based on business requirements, and oversee Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, System Demo, and planning commitments.
- Provide and share the vision for your application portfolio.
- Identify risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation plans.
- Design scalable solutions aligned with standard IT architecture design patterns.
- Demonstrate leadership to align stakeholders.
- Ensure solution operability, security, performance, and robustness.
- Contribute to deliveries including requirement definition, architecture dossiers, and information system modeling.
- Supervise technical and functional aspects within budget constraints.
- Review and approve development proposals and new functionalities.
- Prioritize user stories and manage associated risks.
- Collaborate with the development team and validate user stories.
- Manage subcontractors and address daily activities and technical/functional challenges.
- Engage in technical discussions with new business stakeholders.
- Create, modify, and present technical reports.
- Communicate effectively on application functionality and performance issues.
Your Profile
- Master's degree in IT.
- At least 5 years of experience in Business IT projects.
- IT expertise including application languages (Java, .NET, Javascript) and databases (Oracle, MS Sql server, Postgres, CouchDB, MariaDB).
- Collaborative mindset and ability to drive improvement and innovation.
- Experience in Agile product development.
- Knowledge of the Airbus context, Design (DMU), Manufacturing, Support, and Services domains is appreciated.
- Solid Project Management skills, particularly in uncertain or change-intensive projects with complex stakeholder sets.
- Open-mindedness for collaborative work in a transnational business environment.
- Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
