Junior AIT Engineer (d/m/w) - functional

Airbus Defence and Space in Friedrichshafen is looking for a Junior AIT Engineer (d/m/w) for the "Assembly, Integration & Test" department.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Development and execution of functional tests in AIT satellite programs.
  • Support in the review and creation of test specifications.
  • Support in the definition, creation, development, and execution of test procedures.
  • Support of electrical integration activities.
  • Preparation, evaluation of test data, and assessment against customer requirements.
  • Documentation of test results and writing of test reports.
  • Support of satellite/instrument operations.
  • Support of satellite configuration analysis and its documentation.
  • Support in fault analysis (NCR investigation).

Required Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ECSS standards.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems.
  • Knowledge of TM/TC (PUS) for satellites/instruments.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in the field of functional satellite AIT.
  • Knowledge in the area of satellite communication link encryption is desirable.

The activity requires travel abroad and work at other locations.
