Airbus Defence and Space in Friedrichshafen is seeking a Junior AIT Engineer (d/m/w) for the “Assembly, Integration & Test” department, functionally aligned with the Galileo project.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Development and execution of functional tests in AIT satellite programs
- Support in the review and creation of test specifications
- Support in the definition, creation, development, and execution of test procedures
- Definition, development, realization, and debugging of test scripts
- Support of electrical integration activities
- Preparation and configuration of test systems for carrying out satellite tests/instrument tests
- Preparation, evaluation of test data, and assessment towards the customer
- Documentation of test results and writing of test reports
- Support of satellite/instrument operations
- Support of the analysis of satellite configuration and its documentation
- Support in fault analysis (NCR investigation)
Required Knowledge and Qualifications
- Completed university degree in aerospace, information technology, mechanical engineering, or comparable engineering studies
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
- Knowledge in programming and the programming language JAVA
- The position requires, in part, shift work and work outside the plant for an extended period
- Fluent/negotiable English
- 1-2 years of professional experience in the field of functional satellite AIT
- Knowledge of ECSS standards
- Knowledge in the area of satellite communication link encryption
- Knowledge of TM/TC (PUS) of satellites/instruments
