About the Role:
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Lead Business Change Professional to spearhead the successful delivery of business change within a significant enterprise-wide IT transformation programme. This is a critical role focused on guiding the adoption of new technologies and ways of working to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive business change artefacts, including change impact assessments, communication plans, stakeholder analyses, training strategies, and overarching change roadmaps.
- Take ownership of business change delivery for medium to large-scale projects or specific work packages, and contribute to complex, business-wide transformation initiatives.
- Oversee and report on the realisation of business benefits, ensuring alignment with agreed objectives, benefit frameworks, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define, shape, and agree upon project benefits, and establish effective benefits management plans.
- Create and lead change networks and champion programmes to foster engagement, drive adoption, and embed sustained behavioural change across the organisation.
- Ensure business change management principles are consistently integrated, delivered, and assured across all project activities using standardised methodologies.
- Drive the successful implementation and adoption of new systems, technologies, and operational processes throughout the organisation.
- Provide support to the Portfolio Business Change Manager, including deputising in key meetings and serving as a primary point of contact for the team in their absence.
About You:
- Possess a relevant Business Change qualification (e.g., APMG, PROSCI, or equivalent).
- Demonstrate significant experience in Business Change, with a strong understanding of change management methodologies and frameworks.
- Proven experience delivering change within enterprise-wide IT transformation programmes.
- Ability to lead and deliver business change activities across projects of medium to high complexity.
- Skilled in effective stakeholder engagement and influencing, including interaction with senior leadership.
- Capacity to provide clear guidance and direction on business change activities.
Location & Working Arrangements:
This role is based in Preston, Lancashire or Frimley, Surrey. BAE Systems offers a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, and candidates are encouraged to discuss specific options with their recruiter for this position.
