Airbus Helicopters in Kassel is seeking a Technical Trainer in Structure & Mechanics to support the aviation technical school. This role is within the IHK vocational training department, focusing on training for Aircraft Mechanics/Mechatronics Technicians and EASA CAT-A/B1 foundational courses.
This position can accommodate a reduced weekly working time of at least 28 hours, with a corresponding adjustment in responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities:
- You will be independently responsible for the preparation and execution of training courses as foundational courses according to EASA Part-66 for the acquisition of the "CS-CAT A/B1" qualification, as well as IHK vocational training for Aircraft Mechanics and further training for Industrial Foremen in Aviation Technology.
- This includes:
- Creating training materials and demonstrative/practice objects, using planning techniques for lesson delivery, and applying appropriate presentation techniques.
- Independently conducting theoretical and practical training, maintaining necessary course records, and preparing documentation.
- Communicating clearly and precisely in spoken and written form.
- Adhering to and understanding labor and social law regulations, vocational training law, and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Guiding and mentoring course participants towards responsible actions.
- Moderating groups and guiding discussions and outcome presentations effectively.
- Assessing the influence of group structures on group behavior and developing/implementing corrective measures.
Your Qualifications/Skills:
- Completed vocational training as an Aircraft Mechanic (m/f/d) or in a comparable field.
- Successfully completed further qualified training as a Master Craftsman or Technician.
- Possession of a CS-CAT B1 license according to EASA or DEMAR regulations.
- Several years of relevant professional experience.
- Sound technical expertise in the field of metal vocational training.
- Proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
- An open personality and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Fluent German language skills.
- Strong team spirit.
