Role Overview

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a dedicated Maintenance System Operator to join our team at the Sellafield site. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of critical infrastructure by providing vital maintenance system support to service delivery teams. You will play a key part in managing, tracking, and completing maintenance activities to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating work order systems to support the timely delivery of maintenance activities for customers.
  • Supporting the procurement of spares, consumables, and office supplies through established processes.
  • Maintaining and updating maintenance tracking systems to ensure accurate reporting and effective service delivery.
  • Providing administrative support and collating data for customer and business reports.
  • Identifying and implementing service improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, permanent position based at Sellafield. The standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 07:30 to 15:30. An additional 30 minutes per day is worked, which equates to up to 13 additional days of leave per year.

Essential Experience

  • Confident use of Microsoft Office applications in a busy work environment.
  • Experience working within a service delivery, operations support, or customer-focused environment.
  • Proven ability to manage documentation, records, or controlled information accurately.
  • Skilled in building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems is beneficial.

Qualifications

  • GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in English.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in Mathematics.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in a Science subject.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national and will be required to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
