  • Develop, deploy, and maintain a Master Data Management tool.
  • Ensure consistency of master data records with downstream systems.
  • Modify and cleanse master data management data with steward approval.
  • Monitor and act on data inconsistency reports for quality assurance.
  • Integrate source systems and document interfaces into the Master Data Management Hub.
  • Apply knowledge of Systems Engineering, Data Engineering/Science/Analysis principles.

Join BAE Systems and become part of a team responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of a crucial Master Data Management tool. This role is an exciting opportunity to significantly contribute to maintaining Master Data Records, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all systems.

Core Duties:

  • Responsible for making changes to cleanse and maintain Master Data Management data within the Master Data Management Hub, with the approval of the Data Management Data Stewards.
  • Play a role in the adherence to and compliance with Key Performance Indicators and Metrics.
  • Monitor and act on Engineering Data Inconsistency Reports to ensure data quality.
  • Test various systems and data during IT System development and acquisition phases.
  • Escalate any violation of standards to the Data Stewards.
  • Work with Data Stewards and IT teams to incorporate all source systems into the Master Data Management Hub.
  • Communicate with project teams, supply chain, and procurement to discover and integrate all used source systems.
  • Document interfaces and integrate them into the Master Data Management Hub.
  • Ensure that correct processes and procedures for the Master Data Management Hub are developed and maintained.

Essential Skills:

  • Good understanding of BAE Systems Engineering support processes and toolsets.
  • Experience in the practical application of Systems Engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analysis principles.
