About the Role

At the Airbus Helicopters site in Donauwörth, we are looking for a Master for Metallic Component Manufacturing / HO Subassemblies (m/f/d) to strengthen our current and future projects. You will be working in Donauwörth, a location situated on the banks of the Danube near Augsburg, where we develop helicopters from the initial concept to the fully functional end product. Become part of Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth and witness our finished products take off and land from our own airfield.

Responsibilities

  • As a member of the management team, manage, lead, develop, and motivate a production team to meet requirements for time, quality, cost, and safety, taking into account local labor law conditions.
  • Promote continuous improvement and ensure effective communication within the team and with key interfaces.
  • Employee management within the area of responsibility.
  • Personnel deployment planning.
  • Conduct employee evaluations (TLB).
  • Technical support for processes and systems in the subassembly area.
  • Interface with internal and external customers.
  • Conduct schedule planning as part of recovery measures.
  • Conduct hazard analyses and provide instructions.
  • Provide technical support in projects.

Your Qualifications

  • Completed relevant vocational training.
  • Qualification as a Master in the Metalworking field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the Metalworking field.
  • Experience in personnel management.
  • Experience in upstream production areas (planning, order processing, control, etc.).
  • High level of quality and safety awareness.
  • Very good German and good English language skills.
