About the Role

We are seeking a Skilled Aircraft Fitter with a strong focus on Metrology to join our production team at the Filton Plant Operations. In this role, you will contribute to the manufacture of A400M Wings, A350 Gear Beams, and engage in Research & Technology (R&T) activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be experienced in reading technical drawings, including geometric characteristics and their symbols.
  • Apply the metrology process from start to finish, defining datum structures from key aircraft features using interface and frontier drawings, and Catia platforms.
  • Perform fitting and assembly of aircraft components.

What You'll Bring

  • A Metrology background is highly valued in our manufacturing environment.
  • Evidence of a Level 3 time-served qualification within an Electrical field (e.g., Certificate of Modern Apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ Level 3 and Vocationally Related Academic Qualification).
  • Flexibility, with a strong focus on Safety and Quality.
  • Ability to accurately follow complex documentation and design procedures.
