Certifying Staff CAT B1.3 - Helicopter MRO
Motorflug Baden-Baden GmbH is looking for a Certifying Staff CAT B1.3 (m/f/d) for the MRO Helicopter department, starting November 1st, 2026. This permanent position is based at Airpark Baden-Baden.
Responsibilities:
As a Certifying Staff CAT B1.3 for H145, EC135, and H135 helicopters in base maintenance, you will collaborate with colleagues to oversee the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of helicopters and their components. You will also provide occasional worldwide support to our helicopter customers for planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
- Perform planned and unplanned maintenance work.
- Troubleshoot and rectify issues within mechanical systems.
- Install mechanical modifications, retrofits, and technical changes.
- Conduct inspections, evaluate findings, and assess deviations.
- Perform complex system tests.
- Support and participate in workshop and test flights.
- Coordinate with and support other work areas, such as planning, commercial departments, and logistics.
- Assist with hangar operations, including aircraft towing, logistical tasks, and maintaining safety, order, and cleanliness.
Required Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in civil helicopter maintenance; knowledge of Airbus helicopters, particularly the BK117 and EC135 series, is advantageous.
- Completed EASA PART 66 CAT B1.3 basic course.
- High level of responsibility and quality awareness.
- Strong teamwork, independence, and resilience.
- Flexibility and strong service orientation to balance customer needs and company requirements.
- Good English language skills; German language skills are beneficial.
- Problem-solving abilities and a high degree of self-reliance.
- Valid work permit for Germany/Europe.
