// Role Specification

About the Role

A position for an electronic board wiring/varnishing technician (m/f) has opened within Airbus Defence & Space at Elancourt (Yvelines). Within a cleanroom, you will manually or by means of production machines, carry out the insertion, placement, wiring, and varnishing of electronic boards. You will join the Operations department of the Space Electronics activity (TSAEO3).

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Prepare all tasks to be executed: (reading the manufacturing file, assembly sheet).
  • Identify the placement of components (resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, ...) from the electronic diagram or wiring plan.
  • Check components and arrange them according to the assembly operations.
  • Position and fix components on supports.
  • Integrate and connect sub-assemblies into casings or chassis.
  • Perform manual soldering and pre-forming according to procedure rules and IPC/Space standards.
  • Maintain rigorous traceability on our ERP system.
  • Use production tools and equipment (soldering iron, binocular magnifier, placement machine, etc.) while respecting safety rules.
  • Ensure the gluing/varnishing of electronic boards.
  • Provide clear and precise information when required.
  • Participate in investigations and non-nominal activities.
  • Contribute to improving productivity.
  • Apply common traceability rules.

Required Skills

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

  • Bac pro, CAP, BEP (or equivalent) in electrical and/or electronic fields.
  • First experience as a board wiring technician.
  • Good knowledge of wiring standards.
  • Computer skills would be a real asset.
  • Sense of communication and teamwork in a multi-disciplinary and international context.
  • Synthesis skills, rigor, method, pragmatism, attention to work quality, and transparency.
  • Basic knowledge of English.
