For Airbus Commercial in Hamburg, we are looking for a Tester (D/M/W) for functional tests for the A320 Final Assembly Line (FAL) Hamburg Ground Test Operations department.
In our team, you will 'fly' the aircraft on the ground and be responsible for the release of aircraft systems on the A320 Final Assembly Line in Hamburg. For this task, you will work with a large number of different test tools and test systems. You will operate in an international environment with diverse interfaces to other departments and have regular customer contact.
Your Location

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Preparation and execution of functional tests (inspections and final checks on aircraft systems of the entire aircraft).
- Documentation of the conducted tests and test results.
- Creation, schedule tracking, and closure of reported construction deviations.
- Evaluation of test results with the customer, potentially initiating corrective measures.
- Preparation and coordination of troubleshooting, as well as the creation and re-inspection of test reports and complaints based on troubleshooting results.
- Initiation or support of the implementation of improvement measures.
- Support in problem-solving with involved departments such as Development, Customers, and Suppliers.
- Release of the aircraft systems to be tested in accordance with quality and manufacturing regulations, as well as decision-making guidelines.
- Demonstration of the conformity of aircraft systems with construction specifications by attesting in the test system and initiating the rectification of identified deviations.
Your Boarding Pass
- Successfully completed further training as a Technician or Master Craftsman (specializing in Electronics or Aviation Technology).
- Strong quality awareness.
- Previous experience in testing and/or aviation is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office product suite.
- Fluent in German.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Willingness to work shifts (3-shift) and weekends.
- Severely disabled candidates (D/M/W) are preferred with equal qualifications.
