Internship in Performance and Improvement - NH90 Operation Control
Airbus Helicopters is seeking an intern to support the NH90 Operation Control department in Donauwörth. This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain practical experience and learn about the role of a Project Manager in the aerospace industry.
Your Location
Our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the Danube near Augsburg, is where we develop helicopters from initial concept to flight-ready product. Experience firsthand how our aircraft take off and land on our own test flight field.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve objectives in OTx (On Target Cost, On Target Quality, On Target Delivery).
- Assess the current situation and develop a deployed, established process to improve the identified areas.
- Support the achievement of annual targets.
- Harmonize processes with interfaces and neighboring final assembly lines.
- Prepare an intern report or a thesis (Diploma/Master/Bachelor).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Currently enrolled full-time student in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of Project Management and/or Performance and Improvement Management is desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Independent work style and sense of responsibility.
- Language skills: Fluent in English; business fluent in German; French or Spanish is a plus.
