About the Role

As an Intern (m/f/d) in Industrial Setup and Performance, you will support our team in optimizing and standardizing our production processes. You will gain insights into the production of highly complex satellite communication systems and actively contribute to increasing efficiency and quality.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analysis of existing production workflows and identification of optimization potentials.
  • Participation in Lean Management and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
  • Conducting process recordings and value stream analyses.
  • Support in the planning, moderation, and follow-up of workshops (e.g., Kaizen).
  • Creation and evaluation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and visualization of results.
  • Involvement in the standardization of workflows and the creation of standards.
  • Support in the implementation of 5S, Shopfloor Management, and Lean initiatives.
  • Creation of presentations, documentation, and decision proposals for management.

Your Qualifications

  • Enrolled student in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Technology, or a comparable field of study.
  • Initial knowledge in Lean Management, process optimization, or project management is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Analytical thinking skills and a structured approach to work.
  • High degree of initiative, willingness to learn, and teamwork skills.
  • Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
