About the Role
An opportunity for a Process and Documents Quality role has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe. You will lead a Quality team within a program, project, or service, acting as a key point of contact for digitalization, innovation, and collaboration. Your focus will be on promoting employee development and alignment with Airbus's Quality vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage all Quality disciplines supporting the program, project, or service, ensuring timely delivery of results in line with requirements and planning.
- Oversee budget execution, estimate workload, and manage budgetary needs for your team and involved organizations.
- Act as a guarantor of product conformity and client requirement fulfillment, analyzing feedback to identify improvements and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Promote a customer-centric culture throughout the team.
- Review contracts and commercial offers to identify applicable quality requirements, implement changes, and ensure their diffusion and compliance.
- Certify product conformity against contractual and regulatory requirements, monitoring compliance status.
- Be fully responsible for the end-to-end conformity certification process, ensuring contractual and legal compliance.
- Participate in or directly manage relationships with competent authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
- Manage interactions with authorities, including on-site inspections, quality assurance, and flight permit management where applicable.
- Develop and update specific quality plans, control plans, quality management plans, product assurance plans, and inspection plans, ensuring their correct implementation.
- Contribute to the identification and resolution of risks and opportunities affecting quality objectives.
- Support APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) or equivalent quality planning methodologies.
- Ensure the application of methods and tools for anomaly prevention and business performance improvement.
- Participate in risk analyses, decision trees, and determine the scope of APQP for each project.
- Proactively reinforce prevention and surveillance activities by defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ).
- Support business performance dialogue, identifying and analyzing incidents, non-conformities, and associated costs.
- Manage process non-conformities (NCRs) from registration to root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and closure.
- Manage product and service non-conformities, including cause investigation, corrective/preventive actions, and resolution tracking.
- Manage applicable Alerts and Warning Notices.
- Perform or support reviews to assess the maturity of deliverables, milestones, and project outcomes, including mandatory reviews and Maturity Gates.
- Ensure all reviews are conducted according to established procedures and project documentation.
- Support initiatives for collecting, analyzing, implementing, and documenting lessons learned.
- Ensure the implementation of improvement actions to enhance organizational efficiency and performance.
