A position of Procurement Officer for Electrical Assemblies (m/f) has arisen in Airbus Commercial in Toulouse within the Electrics Procurement team (PSCL).

Our Team, Our Products

Part of the PSCL extended team, we are a multicultural team of ~10 Procurement Officers managing a large portfolio of suppliers providing our company with the whole electrical assemblies for our different aircrafts families (A320, A350, A330, A220, A400M…). The specificity and challenge of electrical assemblies lies in the high level of customization of the items and their late integration stage in the aircraft production cycle.

This position will offer you an excellent opportunity to develop your procurement skills (negotiation, contracts and claims management, call for tenders…) while collaborating with various key stakeholders of the company (Programmes, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Legal...) to ensure the end-to-end business delivers on time, on cost and on quality.

Activities and Responsibilities

Your main activities will be the following:

• Being responsible for maintaining the integrity of our contracts and their execution including the management of commercial claims, the negotiation of technical modifications, price reviews and the delivery of cost reduction initiatives.
• Evaluate the overall suppliers’ performance and support their development in close collaboration with the operational functions.
• Contribute to the company cost improvement projects by identifying opportunities and negotiating commercial agreements with the contribution of the impacted programs and functions.
• Lead/support calls for tender to ensure the business needs.
• Identify and manage risk related to suppliers (financial, strategy, monopoly...), define and lead appropriate mitigation actions.
• Contribute to the development of the Electric Commodity Strategy in a fast-changing business.
• Support transversal/team projects in line with the Company objectives.

Candidate Profile

You have the following skills and experience:

• Master degree in Engineering or Business school
• First experience in Procurement or Sales
• Contracts management and supplier relationship experience
• Excellent communication skills and leadership behavior
• Efficient stakeholder management
• Creative, proactive in challenging the status quo
• Negotiation level of English, and preferable in French
