About the Role
As a Product Cyber Security Engineer, you will lead Product Security across complex engineering programmes. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring products are designed, developed, and operated securely throughout their entire lifecycle. This involves defining security architectures, guiding secure design decisions, and providing trusted advice to engineering, programme, and supplier teams. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, balancing security requirements with operational, commercial, and delivery priorities to achieve compliance with practical, cost-effective solutions. Through technical leadership and stakeholder influence, you will reduce security risk, strengthen customer confidence, and embed Product Security into engineering decisions, directly contributing to successful programme outcomes and business growth.
Core Duties

- Deliver Product Security artefacts and support customer acceptance activities.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Significant Product Security Engineering experience, including risk management and secure system design.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder influence, with the ability to translate complex security challenges into practical solutions.
- A STEM degree (or equivalent experience) plus CISSP, CISM, or the ability to achieve professional chartership.
