About the Role

Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is looking for an experienced professional with product support expertise to drive an exciting new digital transformation programme. This initiative aims to revolutionize how Product Support operates by implementing new tools and associated governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight for all digital outputs originating from Product Support.
  • Collaborate closely with US teams to deliver the new Product Support Digital Ecosystem.
  • Exercise leadership and technical oversight over Data Exploitation activities.
  • Ensure that all technical outputs effectively meet customer requirements and support the broader needs of the Product Support team.
  • Act as a liaison with IT, DSA, and other internal business areas.

Leadership and Collaboration

This role demands a high level of collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels within the organisation. The ideal candidate will excel in embodying Boeing's core behaviours.

  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all programmes in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Maintain strict regulatory compliance throughout all project phases.
  • A strong understanding of Product Support pillars is essential.
  • Programme management skills and experience managing complex IT programmes will be considered an advantage.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
  • Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent non-US qualifications directly related to the work statement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or significant experience with a commitment to apply for CEng upon assuming the role.
  • Successful candidates must pass the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment.
