As the Production Controller, you will lead and control the end-to-end production flow across multiple concurrent products. Your role is crucial in ensuring all work entering production is prioritized, fully enabled, and correctly resourced, ultimately delivering predictable and efficient output across the value stream.

What you will be doing:

  • Translate long-term plans into executable production sequences.
  • Align labor capacity (mechanical vs. electrical) with demand.
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans.
  • Define and enforce “ready to build” criteria.
  • Prevent incomplete or unverified processes from entering production.
  • Drive improvements in work order quality, sequencing, and material readiness.
  • Coordinate the allocation of electricians and mechanical fitters across all products.
  • Minimize downtime and bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with Shift Leaders to ensure plan vs. execution alignment.
  • Lead and align Production Planning / Stores Kitting / Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Ensure seamless flow from material availability through to build execution.
  • Own and improve key metrics: On Time Delivery / Schedule Adherence / Labour Utilization.
  • Drive standardization and process discipline across all product lines.
  • Provide clear, data-driven updates to Production Leaders and Senior Leadership.

Position Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in complex manufacturing environments (multi-product, long lead times).
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional delivery, not just a single team.
  • Microsoft Office Expert.
  • Track record of improving production flow, planning, or operational efficiency.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP S4HANA or equivalent).

Preferred requirements:

  • MRP integrated systems (Siemens OpCenter).
