Program Manager - Aircraft & Cockpit Computers Programs

Leonardo, a leading international industrial group in Aerospace, Defence, and Security, is seeking a Program Manager for its Pomezia site. This role is within the Avionics Equipment/Aircraft & Cockpit Computers Programs division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing national and international programs of medium complexity, ensuring autonomous achievement of project objectives.
  • Guaranteeing alignment with economic-financial targets and adherence to contractual agreements with clients.
  • Coordinating and managing progress meetings, performance measurement, and the planning/organization of testing and delivery activities with clients.
  • Actively supporting business winning phases and monitoring project progress during business execution.
  • Interfacing with stakeholders across various company functions and agreeing on corrective actions with line management to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Managing contractual compliance in accordance with company procedures and national laws, with a focus on Legal, Security, Trade Compliance, Health & Safety, Procurement, and Reporting processes.
  • Risk Management.
  • Participation in bid teams for the development of commercial offers.
  • Coordinating cost definition and collection.
  • Reporting to management with analysis of measured results.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement processes.
  • Participating in company training for project management processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in a Technical or Management field, preferably Engineering.
  • Junior Level: 1-3 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Solid foundational knowledge for managing technical and economic aspects.
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles, processes, and planning/control methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project economic indicators.
  • Understanding of compliance in Security, Trade Compliance, and Health & Safety.
  • Previous work experience in Project Management is required.
  • A PMI certification is a plus.
