Project Controller

What you’ll be doing:

• Collect and validate project performance data from multiple sources to support cost, schedule, and milestone reporting.
• Analyse cost and schedule trends, investigate variances, and provide insight into emerging performance issues.
• Prepare and present performance reports to Senior Project Managers and Control Account Managers, including root-cause analysis and recommended corrective actions.
• Support cost, schedule, and quality management by providing relevant metrics and performance data to project leadership.
• Assist with estimates at completion, resource profiling, and cost forecasting activities.
• Contribute to risk and opportunity management by maintaining registers and ensuring potential impacts are reflected in project cost and schedule performance.

Core duties:

• Bring experience as a Project Controller, Project Analyst, Cost Engineer, or similar role.
• Apply good knowledge of cost control, forecasting, earned value, and risk management.
• Interpret complex data, identify trends, and deliver clear, meaningful insights.
• Stay organised while managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Utilise tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Primavera, SAP, or similar platforms.

The Naval Ships Project Controls Team:

As a Project Controller, you will support the delivery of a major international naval shipbuilding programme. Working within an integrated team, you will provide analysis and performance insights, monitor cost and schedule forecasts, and produce reports.
