Project Controller at QinetiQ

We are seeking a Project Controller to join us at our Boscombe Down site, offering the opportunity to work with advanced technology alongside brilliant minds.
The Role
As a Project Controller, you will provide essential support across a spectrum of global projects, varying in scale. Your analytical skills and expertise in scheduling will be instrumental in driving the progress of the projects you manage. You will be part of a dynamic wider team, responsible for capturing progress updates from work package leads, adjusting actual start and finish dates, reviewing changes in sequencing or dependencies, and validating remaining durations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day scheduling for a range of projects.
- Forecasting project spend and communicating any shortfalls or obstacles.
- Analysis and reporting of project data.
- Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, planning, and implementing risk responses.
Essential Experience:
- Clear communication skills are a MUST.
- Forecasting and scheduling experience is desirable.
- An analytical mind would be advantageous.
- Ability to work to tight and sometimes pressurized deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Degree educated or equivalent experience in a similar role.

Working Location and Hours:
This role is based at our Boscombe Down site, working 37 hours per week. Hybrid working patterns are available, with a minimum average site attendance of 3 days per week.
