About the Role
As a Project Manager at Babcock's Mission Systems business, you will be instrumental in delivering integrated defence and security solutions. Working within the ISTAR and Cyber portfolio, you'll lead complex engineering and technology projects that bolster intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, autonomy, and cyber capabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational and strategic delivery of assigned projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Manage complex engineering projects, ensuring all cost, schedule, and quality objectives are met.
- Support requirement capture, project scoping, solution development, pricing, and proposal generation.
- Implement effective risk and change management strategies to ensure project success and commercial performance.
- Coordinate internal teams and external supply chain partners to fulfil customer requirements and achieve milestones.
Essential Experience
- Demonstrable experience applying project management methodologies in a technical or engineering environment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams towards achieving business and customer objectives.
- Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Track record of delivering strong financial performance, including budget control and profitability management.
- Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary internal teams and external suppliers to deliver complex solutions.
Qualifications
- APM PMQ, Chartered status, or equivalent is advantageous.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
