Project Manager Construction - Rosyth, Fife

As a Project Manager Construction at our Rosyth site, you will play a crucial role in supporting national security through the delivery of major infrastructure, construction, and refurbishment projects within a technically complex and highly regulated environment.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of critical defence infrastructure projects. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of construction, infrastructure, and refurbishment projects from planning through to completion.
- Manage site activities, subcontractors, resources, materials, and quality assurance processes.
- Establish project governance, including reporting, planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Act as the primary interface between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal delivery teams.
- Drive a strong safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, Security, Environmental, and Quality requirements.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle.
- Strong experience managing site-based construction activities, subcontractors, and quality control processes.
- Experience working within complex or regulated environments, with a focus on governance, risk management, and reporting.
- Demonstrable experience managing project budgets, schedules, and commercial performance, including contract administration (NEC, JCT, or FIDIC contracts).
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.
- Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) qualification or equivalent health and safety certification.
- Recognised Project Management qualification such as Association for Project Management (APM) or equivalent.
- Membership (or working towards) of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIOB, RICS, CIBSE) is desirable.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.

This is a full-time, permanent role based at our Rosyth site, 37 hours per week.
