  • Maintain visual governance to monitor quality performance and address shortfalls.
  • Requires Certified Lead Auditor (ISO9001 and/or AS/EN9100/9110) qualification.

Position Summary

Quality Manager within our Defence Manufacturing business team. This role covers new manufacture of products for the JSF LiftSystem and Component Repair activities. The role will appeal to someone with Quality experience that thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented operational environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Work closely with the Production Leadership Team to ensure compliance, across all OE and MRO activities, with both external regulatory and internal Rolls-Royce Management System requirements.
  • Deploy the problem resolution process (8D); coaching others in its application and leading investigations, when required.
  • Manage MRO related mandatory occurrence reporting (DASOR), human factors investigations (MEDA) and action reports (MARS) processes.
  • Ensure Quality improvement tools and techniques are deployed and embedded into the day-to-day operation of the Facility, including support to the RR Production System.
  • Maintain visual plant-based governance structure that informs the Plant of its quality performance and the actions that need to be taken to address any quality shortfalls.

Position Qualifications:

  • Certified Lead Auditor (ISO9001 and/or AS/EN9100/9110)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to analyse and solve complex problems
  • Good leadership qualities: influencing, priority setting, conflict resolution and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to stimulate and promote continuous improvement
