About the Role

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is seeking a Security Consultant with a focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to join our team in London. In this role, you will support and lead client engagements, working on-site to deliver comprehensive cyber risk assessments, enhance the maturity of security controls, define secure solutions, and ensure regulatory compliance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivery of small to medium cyber security work-streams or engagements.
  • Understanding the business and information risk context of our customers, and judging risk at both technical and business process levels.
  • Reviewing the effectiveness of security controls and proposing proportionate security improvements and mitigations.
  • Analysing and researching security technologies to support the development of innovative solutions.
  • Contributing to GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) initiatives.
  • Working and collaborating with account teams to identify new opportunities for work and support the production of quality proposals.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Ability to articulate and pitch security advice, often at a technical level, directly to key customer stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in documenting and articulating to customer stakeholders how to manage cyber security risk utilising a structured approach based on industry frameworks.
