About the Role
As a Senior Project Controller at our Rosyth site, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and secure world. This is an out-of-the-ordinary position where you'll leverage your expertise in project planning, scheduling, earned value management, and project controls to ensure the successful delivery of major projects. This senior-level role offers the chance to work on highly complex programmes and develop your professional expertise within a globally recognised engineering organisation.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Developing, baselining, and maintaining integrated project schedules across multiple planning levels.
- Defining and maintaining project control structures, including work breakdown, organisational, and cost breakdown structures.
- Ensuring alignment between Primavera P6, project control systems, and company financial and material planning tools.
- Producing schedule analysis, performance metrics, critical path assessments, and project reporting to support informed decision-making.
- Supporting project teams with earned value management activities, forecasting, and project performance monitoring.
What We're Looking For:
Essential experience for this role includes demonstrable experience in project planning and network scheduling within complex engineering, defence, infrastructure, or major project environments. You will need advanced knowledge and practical experience of Primavera P6, alongside experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques and performance measurement methodologies. A working knowledge of project control processes and integrated planning principles is also required, as is experience in forensic planning, schedule analysis, and project performance reporting.
Qualifications include a degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience in project planning, project controls, or a closely related field. Evidence of professional knowledge and experience gained through industry practice is expected. While not essential, professional accreditation or recognition from a relevant industry or professional body is advantageous. A working knowledge of Cobra and IFS systems is desirable.
