Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Managing the safe storage, handling, and organisation of equipment and materials within the warehouse.
- Supporting collections and deliveries, ensuring accurate tracking and recording of all items.
- Conducting inspections of storage systems and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Carrying out disposal activities and general stores support tasks as directed.
- Performing Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on equipment and ensuring compliance with quality and safety procedures.
Role Details
This role is full-time, 37 hours per week, based by the North Yorkshire Coast. The working hours are flexible around core hours of 8am-4pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8am-3:30pm on Friday.
Essential Experience
- Adequate knowledge of and compliance with Health and Safety policy and regulations.
- Clear and effective communication skills with team members, clients, and superiors.
- IT literacy in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a Forklift driving license.
- Demonstrable strong organisational and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Hold or be willing to obtain City & Guilds 2377-22 Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) certification.
- Possess a full UK Driving Licence.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance. Applicants must be Sole UK citizens.
