The Role
You will play a pivotal role in providing subject matter expertise and leadership to programme supply chain teams to deliver the business winning strategy. This role forms part of a significant step-change in supply chain capability, contributing to the delivery of the functional and line of business integrated business plans.
You will also be required to work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across multi-functions and disciplines, including customers and external suppliers and partners.
Core Duties
- Carry out effective early engagement through the Lifecycle Management (LCM) Phases.
- Support the development of the Capture Plan, understanding the Win Strategy, Price to Win, and the role of the supply chain to support achievement of this.
- Work across the supply chain team and with suppliers to harvest ideas, develop solutions, and model these aimed at delivering high-quality bids & proposals.
- Support LCM reviews and approvals on behalf of Supply Chain.
- Support the development of supply chain Price to Win activities, driving the solution to meet it, and ensuring internal supply chain, suppliers, and wider leadership stakeholders support this.
- Work across the function and wider business to engage internal stakeholders and secure support, buy-in, and bid approvals for solutions.
Essential Skills
- Experience in leading, managing, and delivering strategically important and high-value campaigns, demonstrated through excellent cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of business winning methodologies, e.g., bid to win, price to win.
- Demonstrated leadership capability working in a complex business environment.
- Background in commercial or business development environments within Supply Chain.
