About the Role
As a SHE Advisor based in Frimley, you will be responsible for providing professional and accurate SHE advice to the business. This includes ensuring compliance with SHE legislation and company procedures, translating requirements effectively into the business context within agreed timescales.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide SHE advice on legislation requirements and compliance with company procedures.
- Conduct SHE audits and inspections in line with internal procedures and ISO 45001/14001 standards.
- Investigate SHE accidents, incidents, and non-conformances, producing comprehensive root cause analysis reports.
- Support SHE workshops and training sessions, acting as a point of contact for the training portal.
- Assist in the delivery of existing and new SHE management systems.
- Participate in and support wider SHE activities, such as public and promotional events.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Professional SHE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate or IEMA Foundation Certificate).
- Practical internal auditor skills; ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Internal Auditor qualification is desirable.
- Sound knowledge of UK SHE legislation.
- Proven accident/incident investigation skills.
- Knowledge of contractual and legal requirements.
