About the Role
As a Social Impact Lead at Cavendish Nuclear, based in Moor Row, Cumbria, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing meaningful social impact initiatives. These initiatives will support our business objectives, foster robust community partnerships, and elevate our regional reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of project-specific Social Impact Plans and associated campaigns, ensuring alignment with regional priorities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including charities, voluntary organisations, and community groups.
- Offer expert guidance and support across the business on stakeholder engagement strategies and social impact initiatives.
- Track, evaluate, and report on the outcomes of social value activities and key performance indicators to effectively demonstrate impact.
- Execute compelling communications through various channels such as newsletters, social media, and events, in close collaboration with communications teams.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking individuals with a proven track record in social impact, communications, public relations, media, or marketing. Essential experience includes:
- Demonstrated experience in a social impact, communications, public relations, media, or marketing role.
- Proven ability to build productive relationships with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of social impact metrics and the measurement of social value outcomes.
- Proficiency in using various multimedia and communication tools.
- A keen understanding of social impact priorities and community needs, particularly within West Cumbria.

Security Clearance
