Mission:

As a vital member of the AHE H Product Support team, you will provide crucial technical support to the in-service Spanish H135 helicopter fleets, among other Airbus Helicopters products. This role is integral to ensuring continuing airworthiness and fleet serviceability by resolving technical issues encountered on operational aircraft. You will serve as the Technical Single Point of Contact (TSPOC), acting as the primary communication channel between Spanish end-users, particularly the Spanish Air Force and Navy H135 fleets, and Airbus central technical departments.

Main Activities:

  • Functionally integrated within the AHE/AHD/AH Technical Support organization, handling in-service technical queries from customers.
  • Located in the GETAFE factory, hierarchically part of the AHE Technical Support (EBSSAT) department, within the H Product Support team.
  • Handle and resolve all types of technical queries from the Spanish Air Force and Navy related to the H135 helicopter, as well as queries from AHE MRO for maintenance revisions, delivery commitments, and retrofits.
  • Perform initial technical assessments as the entry point for in-service technical queries (TSPOC) and forward investigations to appropriate departments within the Airbus Technical Support network.
  • Manage and follow up on internal investigations to provide technical resolutions to customer queries in accordance with Spanish Military Airworthiness rules.
  • Demonstrate quick reaction and technical analysis skills for in-service technical events and occurrences.
  • Actively participate in airworthiness assessments and investigations for major incidents and accidents involving Spanish H fleets.
  • Manage vendor technical communications and supplier technical assistance when required.
  • Launch and support field technical assistance missions at customer operating bases in coordination with the AHE Technical Assistance area.
  • Provide technical support for the warranty process under customer warranty claims.
  • Support the definition and implementation of modifications for in-service aircraft according to Spanish Military Airworthiness rules.
  • Assist in the creation and definition of Service Bulletins and Technical Publications.
  • Contribute to the management and coordination of Technical Assistance missions at End User facilities.
  • Record, track, and follow up on all technical events (queries, incidents, TechPub queries) in the designated Airbus CRM tool.
  • Contribute to product and maintenance improvements by providing in-service feedback and data collection.

Key Competencies:

  • EASA Part 66 LMA B1.3 or B2 (C is also valuable).
  • CAA UK and/or PERAM licenses are also valuable.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the aeronautical sector, including Helicopter/Aircraft Maintenance, Support Engineering, CAMO, and/or maintenance certifying staff.
  • Experience with H135, NH90, or similar Airbus helicopter programs and type licenses are highly valuable.
  • Valuable background in Helicopter Airframes/composites, Avionics, troubleshooting, repairs, continuous airworthiness, technical problem-solving, and on-site customer experience.
  • High level of English proficiency. French or German languages are valuable.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and multi-company team environment.
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide for short missions and undertake temporary deployments at customer operating bases in Spain.
  • Ability to work under customer pressure and flexible hours when required.
  • High reactivity, agility, and technical analysis skills.
