About the Role:

As a Technical Lead, you will own the overall technical solution and guide the technical delivery of projects, which can range from a few weeks to over five years. Your primary aim will be to reduce risk and improve project outcomes.

You will serve as the main technical liaison for customers and other stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and Naimuri management. Your responsibilities will encompass solutions architecture and the development of delivery roadmaps, as well as supporting customer decision-making.

Collaboration is key, and you will regularly engage with other Technical Leads across the company, both seeking and providing support. This will involve dedicated time for individual projects and broader engagement.

Recent Project Examples:

• Building a data analytics tool using a Neo4J graph database.
• Developing a DevOps platform to support 3000 users.
• Processing digital forensic data for search and insight generation.
• Creating a search and reporting system backed by an ElasticSearch cluster.
• Developing a custom workflow tool using Camunda with a React/TS front-end.
• Building an AI assurance capability.
• Orchestrating data pipelines and designing metrics for LLM performance evaluation.

Accountabilities:

• Understand the technical aspects of projects and the customer's business model.
• Develop solutions architecture focusing on security, availability, observability, scalability, performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure team members adhere to project standards for quality, documentation, techniques, and tools.
• Identify, escalate, and manage technical risks with the Team Manager and/or Delivery Lead.
• Support the Delivery Lead and Product Owner with backlog prioritisation.
• Act as a role model and mentor to the team.
• Actively drive and enhance Agile project workflows through contributions in ceremonies like stand-ups and retrospectives to accelerate team performance and continuous improvement.
• Provide input for longer-term technical roadmaps.
• Challenge detail design choices within the team.
• Lead reviews on others’ designs.

Collaboration with Development Teams:

You will work closely with our development teams responsible for:

• Designing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining software solutions.
• Full-stack development using front-end technologies such as React, integrating AWS services and open-source tooling, using various databases (e.g., MongoDB or Elasticsearch), and developing in Java, TypeScript, or Python.
• Integrating AI into data processing and user workflow systems.
• Collaborating with Platform Engineers to manage and maintain infrastructure, such as Kubernetes.
• Building and enhancing automated delivery pipelines using GitLab.
