Naimuri engages in a diverse range of projects, from short-term initiatives lasting a few weeks to long-term endeavours extending over five years. Recent projects include building a data analytics tool, a DevOps platform for 3000 users, processing digital forensic data, a search and reporting system, a custom workflow tool, and an AI assurance capability.

About the Role

The User Experience Designer role is an integral part of ACDC, our internal capability team comprising Business Analysts, Business Change Managers, User Researchers, and User Experience Designers. The ACDC team is dedicated to supporting all Naimuri delivery projects by delivering tangible and measurable value to our customers. We ensure a clear understanding of user challenges and requirements, applying a deliberate approach to designing, testing, and refining the user experience.

As a User Experience Designer at Naimuri, you will be supported to undertake and deliver significant tasks and projects with guidance from your team. You will take ownership of design tasks and actively contribute to the team's growth through your developing expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion user-centred design, proactively applying a variety of tools and methodologies to anticipate and overcome design challenges.
• Serve as a skill or knowledge expert in a specific design discipline (e.g., accessibility, interaction design) for your team and the wider business, including upskilling colleagues.
• Lead discovery workshops with users to gather product feedback and support user research initiatives.
• Create dynamic wireframes using Figma, adhering to UX design principles, and confidently present these to stakeholders to articulate your design concepts.
• Translate concepts into functional prototypes and iterate on designs based on user feedback and evaluations.
• Evaluate and recommend multiple design options, considering factors such as performance, security, usability, and accessibility requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Naimuri offers competitive industry pay based on role and location. Salary is commensurate with experience and assessed during the interview process. A full-time working week is 37.5 hours, with flexibility in working times. Part-time working arrangements can be discussed. Our core hours are 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, and the office is accessible from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Some teams have agreed 'in-office' days to facilitate collaboration. Depending on project requirements, occasional travel to local customer sites or other UK locations may be necessary.
