Vehicle Mechanic - Catterick, Richmond, North Yorkshire

Your Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, inspect, and assess vehicles and associated mechanical or electrical equipment.
- Service, repair, maintain, and overhaul vehicles to meet required standards and specifications.
- Complete job cards, test certificates, and technical documentation accurately.
- Ensure correct and efficient management of all materials, tools, and equipment.
- Adhere to customer requirements, regulations, and technical instructions.
This position involves manual work, which may include lifting, bending, using tools, and standing for extended periods.
Role Details:
- This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37 hours per week.
- The role is based at our Catterick site, near Richmond, North Yorkshire.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Experience gained within a dealership or local garage environment.
- Knowledge of hydraulics systems.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong working relationships.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Service and Repair or an equivalent qualification.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
