Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and overhaul military vehicles and associated electrical systems.
- Generate job cards and manage material requests using ERP (SAP) systems.
- Diagnose, inspect, and assess the condition of vehicles and related equipment.
- Ensure the correct management and return of stores and materials.
- Complete all necessary documentation and test certificates to current standards.
Role Details
This is a full-time, permanent position based at Donnington. The standard working hours are 37 per week, structured around a 9-day fortnight pattern. Please note that this role involves manual work, including lifting, bending, tool usage, and extended periods of standing. A targeted medical questionnaire and/or examination is a condition of employment. Relocation assistance may be available subject to eligibility.
Essential Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
- Proven experience with hydraulics.
- Experience gained within a dealership or local garage setting.
- Strong abilities in teamwork and communication.
- Capacity to adapt and build rapport across different teams.
- NVQ Level 3 in Service and Repair or equivalent qualification.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
