About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative at RAF Halton, you will be an integral part of the Barrack Stores operations, directly contributing to the smooth delivery of essential services that support critical aviation functions. This is a dynamic, hands-on role within a busy warehouse and logistics environment, ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and excel in a team setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver furniture and equipment to various locations across the RAF Halton site.
- Install furniture in Service Family Accommodation and other station facilities.
- Assist with office relocations, including the collection and movement of furniture.
- Pick, pack, and issue stock items and technical equipment to designated station departments.
- Maintain meticulous accuracy in stock records and all warehouse documentation.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong customer service skills, with a commitment to excellent service delivery.
- Previous administration experience within a warehouse, logistics, or stores setting.
- Experience with inventory management or stock control systems.
- A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Security Clearance
Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance.
