Werkstudent (d/m/w) Data Analytics & Management Support - Manufacturing Engineering

Airbus Aerostructures in Hamburg is seeking a motivated Working Student to join their Manufacturing Engineering team. If you are a full-time student with a passion for data, digital tools, and strategic management support, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute your energy and ideas.

Location: Hamburg-Finkenwerder

Start Date: By arrangement

Duration: Minimum 12 months

As a Working Student, you will receive a contractual hourly wage of at least €18.53, along with additional payments such as holiday bonus. You will support the Hamburg Manufacturing Engineering leadership team in daily operations and contribute your own creative and innovative impulses. As part of the ME community, you will work alongside hundreds of engineers who create the framework conditions for aircraft fuselage production.

Your workplace is located in Hamburg's largest production facility for civilian aircraft. You will benefit from a balanced work-life balance with an 18-hour week and flexible working hours. A subsequent thesis can be discussed with the department, and mobile working is possible upon agreement.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Data & Dashboards: Analyze data and build smart, interactive dashboards (e.g., with Google Sheets and Data Studio) to serve as a strategic basis for management decisions.
  • Management Support & Workshops: Support the leadership team in daily operations and assist in the methodical design of interactive workshops.
  • Digital Presence (Broaden Your Horizons): Help modernize and make intuitive our internal communication and knowledge platforms (e.g., G-Sites / Confluence).

Required Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Foundation: You are a registered full-time student (m/f/d) in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, etc.), Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
  • Skills: Initial experience or a strong affinity for data analysis, and knowledge of Apps Script, Python, or VBA are a great plus. More importantly, you have the willingness to learn and acquire new skills independently.
  • Personality: Hands-on mentality, proactive, reliable, and strong communication skills.
  • Team Spirit: You impress with an open, communicative demeanor and enjoy actively engaging with people.
  • Fluent German and English language skills are required.
