About the Role:
The Procurement function is a key contributor to Airbus's profitability and innovation, with approximately 60% of product value coming from the external supply chain. As a working student, you will support the Strategic Aerostructure Procurement team, working approximately 15-18 hours per week for about 12 months. The role is based in Manching, Germany, and offers a chance to work closely with interfaces and become a valued member of the team.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support the Procurement team with projects in Strategic Purchasing.
- Assist during tendering processes, including setting up Non-Disclosure Agreements, requesting and evaluating offers, and preparing selection reports.
- Support the set-up and management of contractual agreements with suppliers.
- Develop project management skills by generating project plans and setting up adequate reporting schemes.
- Analyze relevant KPIs and actively manage risks within the procurement perimeter.
- Collaborate effectively with strategic buyers and internal customers.
- Support the definition and update of commodity strategies through market research, data analysis, and supplier evaluations.
- Plan and execute small improvement projects.

Required Knowledge and Qualifications:
