Senior SAP Developer

About the Role

As a Senior SAP Developer at Babcock, you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation, contributing to the creation of innovative SAP solutions that support critical operations across defence, aerospace, and engineering. This is a full-time, permanent role offering hybrid working arrangements with occasional travel.

What You'll Do

• Deliver specialist-level development, configuration, and functional support for SAP solutions, meeting agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Create and implement SAP solutions for projects, ensuring adherence to established standards and governance.
• Ensure all development work is completed, tested, and documented to a high standard.
• Update technical documentation for each task processed.
• Identify and suggest emerging standards and best practices for SAP services.

What You'll Bring

• Strong SAP background with experience in implementation and support.
• Demonstrable knowledge of OData, CDS, ABAP, WebDynPro, Workflow, Fiori, and UI5.
• Experience working with S/4 Hanna and BTP is highly beneficial.
• Broader knowledge of SAP functional areas such as FI, HCM, SCM, PM, PP, PS, MM, IM, and WM.
• Experience in designing business process diagrams and data flows within relevant written documentation.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Eligibility may be affected by place of birth, nationality, citizenship, and residency.
